Problem Reported Consumer had received a call from an e-commerce portal and they convinced him to buy a promotional company card worth ₹8999/-with multiple offers like belt free, wallet free, health checkup free and 3 days 2 night free hotel accommodation services and 15% discount on purchases from E-Commerce Company. They gave full surety for the cancellation of this offer and refund of the full amount if he decided that he did not want it. He agreed and paid the full amount of ₹8999/-. After that he realized that he did not want this card so he called the e-commerce Company but they denied to refund the full amount even after requesting many times.
Escalation by NCH As company is not a Convergence partner of NCH, the grievance was e-mailed to the company, and the company responded that “We have refunded the amount”.
