Problem Reported In June 2020, consumer had booked a flight ticket from an online travel portal for which he had paid an amount of ₹3474/-. This was during the covid 19 pandemic and the flight was cancelled by the Airlines. Even after 1.5 years, the amount had still not been refunded by the online travel portal. Despite several reminders to the portal, they always reverted that the airlines had not refunded the money yet to them.
Escalation by NCH As the online travel portal is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal that “the applicable refund of INR 3474/- is processed from our end in your account. Please find below the RRN details for your reference."
