Consumer had purchased a branded 43" Full HD Smart LED TV in the third week of April 2021, ₹ 36169.56/- online. The TV was in warranty, and within 7 months, it had some display related issues so the consumer contacted the company customer care and raised a grievance. The company technician came and told him that as the TV display was not repairable, the complete TV unit would be replaced with a brand new TV. However, even after 3 weeks, he had not received the replacement. Whenever the consumer enquired, he was informed that as there was a stock issue at the warehouse, it was not done, and would be dispatched that day itself. The company was making false promises, and when he did not get a proper response, he approached National Consumer Helpline. |
