Problem Reported Consumer had booked a bus ticket online, in the first week of December 2021. The timing of the bus was 10 pm, and at 5 pm he got a call to inform that the bus was cancelled due to some technical reason. So he booked a ticket through another bus service for 10 pm for the same day. However, even after almost a month, he had not received the refund.
Escalation by NCH As the online travel company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline; the grievance was responded on the NCH portal that “We would want to inform you that your amount of INR (850.00) has been refunded from our end on xxxx in the same mode of payment. Further, your bank may take 5-7 working days for the credit to reflect in your account.”
