Problem Reported Consumer had recharged his two pre-paid mobile connection in mid January on two successive dates. However, he was not able to use the services as his connections stop working. And later, after about a week, the consumer recharged both the connections with a nominal amount, but it got deducted from his account without any usage.
Escalation by NCH As the telecom service provider is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal that ‘we summarise your concern about the deactivation of your numbers xxxxxxxxx and xxxxxxxxx due to NPD barring (Non Payment at donor operator). We want to inform you that you have cleared all outstanding amounts with the previous operator for your numbers, and we have activated your numbers on xxx 2022. All the incoming and outgoing calls, SMS and data services for your numbers are working fine. We would also like to inform you that we have credited Rs. 82 towards your number xxxxxxxxxx and Rs. 46 towards your xxxxxxxxx for VAS deductions. ’
