Problem Reported Consumer had booked one room in a hotel for one day more than a month earlier to the date of stay and paid the amount of ₹4000/-. As per the e-mail received by the consumer, there were no cancellation charges to be paid, in case a cancellation is done. Due to COVID 19, this booking was cancelled in mid- April 2021, and even after several requests made for the refund, the hotel had not refunded him the amount.
Escalation by NCH As the hotel is not a Convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was e-mailed to the company and the response from the company stated that ‘We have already refunded the amount to the client’.
Consumer Remark in INGRAM Excellent. Excellent work done. No issue arises.
