Problem Reported | Consumer had booked one room in a hotel for one day more than a month earlier to the date of stay and paid the amount of ₹4000/-. As per the e-mail received by the consumer, there were no cancellation charges to be paid, in case a cancellation is done. Due to COVID 19, this booking was cancelled in mid- April 2021, and even after several requests made for the refund, the hotel had not refunded him the amount. | ||||
Escalation by NCH | As the hotel is not a Convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was e-mailed to the company and the response from the company stated that ‘We have already refunded the amount to the client’. | ||||
