Problem Reported Consumer had applied for a lifetime free Credit card and the same was also confirmed during the verification call received from bank executive. But bank had delivered some other card. When he enquired from bank executive, he had been told to use the given card and later on card will be upgraded. He complained to the bank, he has been told that he has given his consent regarding the reward card that he received. Consumer had a view that why would he give consent to the card which doesn’t suit to his requirement. Now, consumer wanted that he should be given the card which he had applied.
Escalation by NCH As the Bank is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded on the NCH Portal that “We wish to inform you that your credit card was processed basis your confirmation provided with the sales executive. In this regard, our Sales Manager had personally contacted you and clarified your raised in detail. Specific to your request for conversion of credit card, we wish to inform you that your card is eligible for upgrade to Millennia credit card as Life Time Free card. Hence, we request you to verify the product features and forward us the duly signed upgrade form attached herewith vide reply to this e-mail for us to take it up further.”
