Problem Reported Consumer had bought a branded mixer grinder from an online shopping portal in mid- February 2022 and had paid ₹ 499. After delivery, consumer found that the product delivered to him was a used one. Consumer complained to the online shopping portal and asked for return and refund. But company had denied to do so.
Escalation by NCH As the online shopping company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded on the NCH Portal that, “Customer gave confirmation on RVP and also got email / SMS of refund initiation, TAT shared will get credited within 3-4 days. Hence customer agreed to close the case.”
