Problem Reported Consumer had purchased herbal products from an online shopping portal. The product did not contain what was mentioned and also has some harmful substances, as per the consumer. He had tried several times to return the product and get a refund for the same but the return process had not been initiated. The product description has no list of the ingredients mentioned in it.
Escalation by NCH As the portal is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline; the grievance was responded on the portal itself that ‘ it is submitted that the refund worth Rs.240.00 was issued to the e-wallet account. Gift card no. xxxxxx. In view of the above, the issue stands closed.
